Deja Vu win for the Lady Trojans

enter site The Lady Trojans get their first road win of the season by defeating Bartlesville 3-0 Thursday night at Custler Stadium. The team started strong despite coming off of back-to-back snow days by scoring three first half goals. Marlo Zoller and Kaylee Dao were at it again scoring the teams three goals of the match. Zoller drew first blood with a near post strike in the tenth minute with the assist from Dao at the top of the eighteen yard box. The second goal came soon after, set up by a beautiful corner kick from Bailey Strong that was headed into the back of the net by Dao. Zoller finished her second goal of the match after receiving a ball over the top from midfielder Bri Demuth and using her speed to leave her 1v1 with the Bruins keeper. Using composure she slotted the ball back post to give the Trojans a three goal lead going into half time. The defense held strong for 80 minutes, keeping the lead, and pitching another shutout for the program. It was a great team win with effort on both the offensive and defensive side of the ball, along with exceptional play from the midfield. The girls look to continue their success Tuesday night at home against the BrokenArrow Tigers. Kick off is at 6:00pm.
